At this free online event on Thursday 15th April, Joanne Milne and Richard Marshall of Hay & Kilner LLP will discuss some of the legal issues around farm diversification, focusing on:
- how the land is to be used in the diversified business and the issues that can arise with this;
- whether the diversified business is permittable for tenant farmers; and
- how the diversified business will be structured and how this can affect any Inheritance Tax and succession planning which may already be in place, or which will be required in the future.
Please note, planning will not be covered in this talk, as it can be a topic in itself!
This event is open to non-members, Register now to access ‘Farm Diversification – understanding the lay of the land’.
