Farmer Collaboration Groups – Expression of Interest

Farming between the Tyne and the Tees?

Help us shape something new.

A bid has just been submitted to establish eight new farmer collaboration groups across the Tyne-to-Tees Lowlands: one dairy, two arable, and five mixed-farming groups.

The aim is simple: bring local farmers together to learn from each other, tackle shared challenges and make practical improvements to their businesses and farms.

Groups would be farmer-led and built around what matters to the people involved.

That could include:

✓ Farmer-to-farmer learning

✓ Business resilience and productivity

✓ Small changes that make a difference

✓ Practical farm visits

✓ Environmental opportunities

✓ Shared problems and practical solutions

✓ Finding opportunities to work together

This isn’t a commitment.

We’re gathering expressions of interest now to

understand where farmers are, what they farm

and where there is demand.

Interested?

Tell us where you farm and what you’d like from a group.
