Representing University of Sunderland in the Santander Emerging Entrepreneurs Programme
Rural Business Network is delighted to be representing the University of Sunderland in this year’s Santander Emerging Entrepreneurs Programme. The programme will run from 20th May through to October and will feature a Virtual Launch Event, exclusive Online Content, and an Accelerator. The programme will culminate with a National Final in September where we will have a chance to win a share of £90,000.
Founder of Rural Business Network, Jo Martin, is a current student at the University of Sunderland, studying MSc Tourism and Events. Jo became a member of the universities’ The Enterprise Place, last October, which is a safe environment for students and graduates to research, test & launch their own business or freelance career.
Having taken part in workshops and networking events Jo was invited to pitch pre-lockdown for the opportunity to represent the university in the Santander Emerging Entrepreneurs Programme. Jo is extremely proud that Rural Business Network has been selected and can’t wait to get started.
