Today, the 7th of July, I am down in Derbyshire to welcome the first member of the Rural Business Network team!
I am excited to introduce Grace, who is our events and marketing assistant; here to help with all our events, online and offline.
Grace has grown up on a beef, sheep and tourism based farm in the Heart of the Peak District (Hartington, Derbyshire) meaning she has first hand experience with farm diversification, as the family farm entered into the tourism industry in 1990, and created six self-catering cottages. After studying for her A Levels Grace successfully graduated from Harper Adams University, with a Bsc (Hons) in Agri-Business, this course helped to develop her knowledge in Rural Business Opportunities and Agricultural Marketing.
Grace has experience in previous roles with marketing and events in the agricultural industry but is really looking forward to starting her new role at Rural Business Network. She is looking forward to meeting all the members here and getting stuck into something she is really passionate about; being rural business, and diversification opportunities. She is also very excited to hear about all your rural business ideas.
I cannot wait for you to meet her.
